On the wind I float where the wind blows, I go seeking life.
The life I take prolongs my own, I will fly until I find a throne.
On my throne I will breed and we will fill the sky.
On a day I went to see my domain and saw a sight, it was there as it always was.
But alas the men had found it, on that day I saw a sight so hard to believe, I went lower and lower.
The wind was good so I sailed watching below.
There were men all right, in the waves where fools dared only to go in great need.
Men in boats riding the waves and it was good.
For they loved my river and protected it and they were wise.
So until the world ceases I will let the wise men of the world on my river.
But only those with the wisdom of white water!
So say I the eagle.

To me, the garden is a doorway to other worlds; one of them, of course, is the world of birds. The garden is their dinner table, bursting with bugs and worms and succulent berries.
