A trucker was driving from Denver to San Diego with a load of 50 penguins.
The truck broke down in the desert so the trucker flagged down the first passing vehicle.
He said to the driver, "Look mate, here's 500 bucks.... can you take these penguins to San Diego Zoo?"
The driver deliberated a bit, finally agreed, took the money and loaded the penguins into the back of his trailer, then took off for San Diego.
Meanwhile, the trucker headed for the nearest garage to fix up his truck.
A few hours later, the truck fixed, he continued on his way to San Diego.
When he arrived in the city center the following day, he chanced to see the other driver walking along the street with the 50 penguins waddling in a line behind him.
He walked up to the guy and said, "Hey, what are you doing here with those penguins?
Don't you remember I gave you 500 bucks and asked you to take them to the Zoo?"
The other guy said, "We've been to the Zoo.
The penguins all had a great time and there was some money left over, so now I'm taking them to the movies."
