"There's no need for a piece of sculpture in a home that has a cat." ~ Wesley Bates
When arriving home with a new cat, place her in a small room with closed doors and windows and provide her with food, water and a litter pan. She will need time to get to know you, so keep the room quiet and keep your distance. Don't be surprised if your cat hides under the bed and refuses to come out. You may be anxious to make friends but you must not rush her or force her. The best thing to do is to let her get acquainted with you in her own time.
