Date Loaf
2 c. pecans
3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 pound dates

Mix all together and cook until it leaves the side of  pot, then when taken from fire add 2 cups of pecans. Put in wet cloth and roll. When cold remove cloth and cut loaf into slices and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
