Amber Glow
8 oz Pkg cream cheese softened
10 oz Jar apricot preserves
1 1/2 ts Dry mustard
1 ts Prepared horseradish
1/8 ts Crushed red pepper flakes or more to taste
1/4 c Salted peanuts; chopped
Assorted crackers for accompaniment

Press cream cheese into an 8-ounce plastic margarine tub or small bowl. Loosen edges with a spatula and invert onto the center of a shallow serving nag plate. Smooth surface with a spatula.

In a small bowl, mix preserves, mustard, horseradish and hot pepper flakes (or Tabasco sauce) until well blended. Pour over cheese. Sprinkle with nuts. Serve with crackers.
