Snack Platter
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
dash salt and pepper
1 can (5 oz.) chunk ham
1 can (5 oz.) chunk chicken
1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
2 hard cooked eggs, chopped
1/3 cup chopped tomato
1/3 cup sliced or chopped green olives
assorted crackers

1. Blend cream cheese, mayonnaise and mustard. 

2. Add salt and pepper.

3. Spread mixture 1/2 inch thick in a shallow 11x13 oval platter. 

4. Cut up chicken and ham.

5. Layer over cream cheese mixture. 

6. Layer all other ingredients in order given. 

7. Chill several hours or overnight. 

8. Serve with crackers.
Anyhow, the hole in the doughnut is at least digestible.

To prepare nuts, first blanch. Cover with cold water and bring to the boil. Let soak until skin wrinkles then slip the skin off between the fingers.
