1 head red cabbage, chunked
left-over meat, of any kind (even meat loaf)
potatoes, cubed (or any other starch that's handy), dried beans (pre-prepped) work well, too
left-over veggies (or whatever is on hand)
1 onion cut in wedges (or left-over onion)
mashed or dried potatoes for a thickener (add for the last 30 mins)
Due to the previous seasoning used to cook the meat in the first place, taste and season after you get it cooking. A crockpot is the easiest way to make this as you don't have to pay any attention to it. It takes about an hour to heat through and you'll see where the "blue" part comes in, lol. It really looks different but tastes great. Don't forget the bread for dipping (and filling the tummy).
Great restaurants are, of course, nothing but mouth-brothels. There is no point in going to them if one intends to keep one's belt buckled. ~Frederic Raphael
Most common sports drinks are the equivalent of sugar-sweetened human sweat. That is, they have the same salt concentration as sweat (but are less salty than your blood). An increase of as little as 1% in blood salt will cause you to become thirsty.
