--CAKE TESTER:
If you're baking a cake and want to do the toothpick test to see if it's done, but your picks are too short to get to the heart of that beautiful cake in the tube pan - what do you do? Get out a piece of spaghetti - (RAW, of course) - and it will work as a great tester.
--EMERGENCY BIRTHDAY CANDLES:
Then, when it's time to present the cake for a birthday - and OOOPPPS! You forgot the candles! Don't worry, just get out some more RAW spaghetti and pretend they are the finest wax birthday candles and stick them in the cake and light 'em up! People will forget about the "real" candles and will praise you for your cleverness!
