Mice as Pets
As far as I am concerned the biggest downside to mice as pets is their short lifespan. 2 years ago we were the happy owners of a gaggle of girl mice - we has 15 back then, and they were so much fin to watch. Now, we only have one left, and at 2 years, 2 months old she is quite elderly for a mouse. We never handled our mice much - they were more of a pet to watch in our house (espeically with young kids around), but mice truly are wonderful pets.
