Traveling With Your Pet
1. Carrier - An airline approved crate would be a good
choice. Choose a big enough one so your cat can stand up
and turn around and not much more.

2. ID, Leash and harness - A frightened cat can be hard
to hold onto. So if he should get loose at least he won't go any further than the end of the leash.

3. Litter box and filler  -  For traveling the clumping
litter would probably be easier and more practical, since it can be disposed of in the toilet.

4. Food, Water and bowls  -  Take their everyday bowls so it will somewhat feel like home.

5. Toys  -  Don't forget some of their favorite toys. Some that you both can play with (like a feather or ball on a stick) cause what else are you going to do in a motel room just in case it rains, but keep you and your cat amused.

Hope these little hints will help you and your pet have a fun-filled vacation.
Since each of us is blessed with only one life, why not live it with a cat?
- Robert Stearns
You have probably noticed that your cat loves to jump from table to chair to couch and so on. To stimulate your cat's natural love of play, consider providing platforms of different heights in kitty's play area. A phone book as well as a stack of books works well. Many pet stores sell kitty trees that are stable and fun to climb.
